Legal Orientation Program

JFIC members are working to establish a Legal Orientation Program (LOP) at the Adelanto GEO facility for immigrant detainees. Individuals in this facility normally go unrepresented and unaware of the proceeding unless they can afford expensive private representation. The LOP will provide basic education about forms of relief from removal, consequences of criminal convictions, bond and the mechanics of Immigration Court procedures.

The LOP will require dedicated volunteers and attorneys to help make it possible. For more information on the program or volunteering please contact:
