EL día 15 de Junio 2012, la administración del Presidente Obama anuncio la implementación de una Orden Ejecutiva que otorga “Acción Diferida” por 2 años a ciertas personas en los Estados Unidos. Tal beneficio migratorio NO ES UNA AMNISTIA y TAMPOCO LA RESIDENCIA PERMANENTE sino solamente una medida administrativa que otorga ciertos beneficios temporales tal como un permiso de trabajo. Para ser elegible los requisitos son los siguientes:
1.- Haber ingresado al país antes de los 16 años de edad.
2.- Haber residido de manera continua por 5 años antes de la orden ejecutiva y estar físicamente presentes en el país para tal fecha.
3.- Estar en la escuela, haberse graduado de la preparatoria (High School), haber obtenido diploma de Educación General (GED) o ser veterano de la Guardia Costera o Fuerzas Armadas.
4.- No haber sido encontrado culpable de un delito mayor, un delito menor significante, múltiples delitos menores o de cualquier otra manera, ser una amenaza a la seguridad nacional o la seguridad publica.
5.-No ser mayor de 30 años de edad.
LA MEDIDA ENTRARA EN EFECTO EN 60 DIAS Y NO SE PUEDE SOLICITAR AUN, PERO TE RECOMENDAMOS:
1.- Obtener una identificación oficial de tu país de origen.
2.- Obtener documentación para establecer tu ingreso al país antes de los 16 años y presencia continua antes de la fecha del anuncio.
3.- Completar High School Diploma o GED si aun no lo tienes.
4.- Obtener carta de no antecedentes criminales del FBI o del Dpto. de Justicia de California.
5.- Consultar con un abogado si tienes antecedentes criminales.

On June 15, 2012, President Obama’s administration announced the implementation of a new Executive Order which grants two years of “Deferred Action” for certain people in the United States. Such immigration benefit IS NOT AN AMNESTY OR LEGAL PERMANENT RESIDENCY; it is only an administrative measure that grants certain temporary benefits such as a work permit. To be eligible, the requirements are the following:
Have entered the United States before the age of 16
Have continuously resided for at least 5 years preceding the executive order, and be physically present in the United States on June 15, 2012
Are currently in school, have graduated from high school, have obtained a general education development certificate (GED), or be an honorably discharged veteran of the Coast Guard or Armed Forces of the United States
Have not been convicted of a felony offense, a significant misdemeanor offense, multiple misdemeanor offenses, or otherwise pose a threat to national security or public safety
Are not above the age of 30
IMPLEMENTATION WILL BEGIN IN 60 DAYS; AND YOU MAY NOT SUBMIT A REQUEST YET. BUT WE RECOMMEND THAT YOU;
Obtain an official identification from your country or origin
Obtain verifiable documentation to establish your entry to the United States before your 16th birthday and 5 years of continuous residence before June 15, 2012
Obtain your High School Diploma or complete your GED if you have not already done so
Obtain criminal clearance from the FBI or California Dept. of Justice
Consult an attorney if you have a criminal record
